New York state is second to California in wine production.   The Finger Lakes region is rich in the number of
wineries along it's shores, Seneca Lake having 23+ along its southern banks alone. 70% of their wine is sold
in the fall months, so plan in advance if that's when you're planning to go. Summer is also a great time to go
to enjoy the longer nights and the many state parks around the shores of the 11 lakes that make up the Finger
Lakes Region.

The shot above is from Glenora Winery on the western shore of Seneca Lake. The Wagner Winery in Lodi,
not far from Chateau Lafayette, has a brewery and a restaraunt. Lots of weddings and celebrations take place
out this way, because they've got it all if you like the country setting - scenery, indoor/outdoor facilities, out-
standing beer and wine selection and food to match.

Chateau Lafayette Reneau - This winery on the east side of Seneca Lake in Hector also has accomodations
on site with a lakefront view. Breakfast is served in a common dining room to all the guests, who trade tips
about best places to go in the area. It's an easy walk to the CLR tasting room, as well as the neighboring Atwater's.
